Contracts Surveyor – Modular Construction

Near Ringwood, Hampshire

Day Rate: Up to £380

A respected Modular Building Contractor is searching for a freelance Contracts Surveyor to join the team.

The business has built a strong reputation through innovation and design and constructs high quality and modern modular buildings for the education and commercial sectors. Projects range from £200k to £2 Million.

The Contracts Surveyor will be responsible for managing all commercial and operational duties regarding the projects, taking then from contract award through to hand over.

This role would suit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking to take on the responsibility of both commercial and operational duties or an existing Surveyor / Contracts Manager.

You will be responsible for taking projects from the Estimating team and producing a bill of quantities, placing subcontract packages and labour including procurement and manage variations and CVRs.

You will also programme projects, meet clients and attend prestart meetings as well as project management and Health & Safety management.

This is initially a freelance opportunity with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent role for the successful candidate.
