Project: New Build – Modular School Building

Site: Reading

Day Rate: up to £325 Per Day

A respected Modular Building Contractor is searching for a site-based Project Manager to oversee the construction of a new school building in Reading worth £700,000.

The company has built a strong reputation through innovation and design and constructs high quality and modern modular buildings for the education and commercial sectors.

You will be responsible for client liaison, planning and programming, managing sub-contractors and ensuring the site complies with all health and safety regulations and is Covid secure.

This role is initially for a period of three months and would suit a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager with modular building experience who is looking to take full control of a site.

This is initially a freelance opportunity with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent role for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities and role:

• Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate at all levels
• You will need to hold an enhanced DBS certificate
• Provide regular progress reports
• Management of sub-contractors
• Responsible for Health & Safety
• Checking quality of work carried out
• Trade or construction degree background
• SMSTS
• First aid qualified
• CSCS card holder at Manager level
