Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading offsite design and build contractor who has an opening for a Business Development Manager.
The company has a proven track record of building outstanding, high-quality permanent buildings for the Ministry of Defence, including living accommodation and sports and leisure facilities, with contract values up to £30 million.
Due to the sustained growth within the defence sector, they are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) who is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with the company.
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for increasing market share in the region both with existing and new customers. You will pursue new business opportunities through structured development of new client relationships.
You will achieve (and strive to exceed) turnover, margin contribution and factory capacity loading targets. Develop professional relationships with clients that enhance the goodwill and stature that are associated with the company’s name and products.
Experience & Qualifications

Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive or relevant role over a broad client base.

Knowledge of the modular/system build market is highly desirable.

Proven sales track record in construction/manufacturing related business.

Detailed knowledge of the Defence sector is highly desirable.

Experience in bid management and customer support.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
On Offer

Salary £50,000.

Sales commission up to 50% of salary.

Car Allowance £5250.

25 Days Holiday.

Hours

08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Thursday

08:30 to 14:30 Friday
