Temporary to Permanent Opportunity.
Day Rate: Up to £160
A leading commercial main contractor based near Southampton is searching for an Assistant Site Manager to join the business.
The company is an established contractor who undertakes a variety of refurbishment and new build projects across the UK.
Recent projects have included industrial units, schools and car showrooms that range in value from £500K to £4M.
The project will start on in June and you will be initially based in a new build car showroom site in Swindon working under a Senior Site Manager and assisting with daily site duties.
Working under the Senior Site Manager you will be responsible for COVID compliance, site inductions, management of some internal packages, site logistics etc.
This is a four-month freelance opportunity and will follow on to a permanent position for the right candidate and will suit either a Junior Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager with two years’ experience.
You will be joining a friendly and supportive contractor who has long-term plans to grow and will offer a stable and interesting career.
The Person
- Minimum 2 years’ main contracting experience working as an Assistant Site Manager.
- HNC or Degree qualified.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- CSCS.
- First Aid.
