A respected facade contractor based near Southampton is searching for a Commercial Manager to join the team.
As an independent specialist, they are experts within the design, engineering and installation of cutting-edge Cladding, Glazing and Roofing projects ranging in value between £1- £15million.
The company has a heritage spanning over 25 years and has been involved with well-known projects throughout London and the South.
The Role
- You will be working on prestigious schemes across a variety of sectors including, Commercial, Education, MoD, MOJ, Healthcare & High-rise.
- They are looking for an exceptional Commercial Manager to help make the strategic & financial decisions within the business.
- Reporting to the Commercial Director you will play the key role in all financial activities for several work streams of the business from bid through to final account, ensuring all contractual obligations are adhered to, mitigating risk where necessary and engaging with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully from both a commercial and client perspective.
- This role would suit an existing Commercial Manager from a facade or subcontract background. The company will also consider applications from motivated Senior Quantity Surveyors or Managing Quantity Surveyors who are looking to take a step up and make their mark.
Experience:
- Previous experience with cladding, glazing, or roofing an advantage.
- Previous experience working with JCT and/or NEC contracts.
- Minimum of 5 years working as a Lead Surveyor.
