Salary up to £55,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday
Blaymires Recruitment is representing a busy roofing and cladding contractor based in Southampton who is searching for a Contracts Manager.
The business started in the early 90’s and has evolved into a respected specialist contractor offering design, supply and installation of various wall cladding and roofing systems.
With experience working for the private and public sectors they have completed projects across the commercial, industrial, residential and education sectors with projects ranging in value from £100k to £1 million.
The role of the Contracts Manager involves:
· You will run multiple jobs at the same time.
· Organise and control directly employed and sub-contract labour.
· Programme works to suit agreed programme.
· Prepare risk assessments, method statements, quality plans etc.
· Approve time sheets and sub-contract labour invoices.
· Record variations and advise Surveyor.
· Ensure works are installed as per approved working drawings and specification.
· Liaise with company employed sub-contractors and ensure work meets requirements.
· Ensure that the works are carried out safely and in accordance with company requirements.
· Maintain a good working relationship with both operatives and the main contractor/client.
· Ensure that materials are ordered, and deliveries meet programme requirements.
· To organise plant, craneage etc to meet programme.
· Attend site meetings as required.
Requirements
· You must have cladding / roofing experience.
· You will have at least 3 years contracts management experience.
· You will hold a SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS card.
