A long-established commercial property contractor who specialises in Warehouse and Office space efficiency are searching for a Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager to join their growing business.
The company undertakes all aspects of warehouse fit-out, office fit-out, mezzanine flooring, pallet racking works with project values ranging from £1K to £350K.
The company has plans to steadily grow the business over the next 5 years and is looking to recruit a Surveyor / Contracts Manager to manage office fit-out, warehouse, electrical & mechanical projects.
Role:
- You will be skilled in utilising all areas of Estimating, Surveying and Contracts Management.
- Understanding processes, tactics and how to nurture relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers. Able to earn credibility and trust in quoting and delivering low, medium and high value projects.
- Hands on knowledge in Health, Safety and Environmental. Able to plan, programme projects and clarify project specifics quickly, enable technical proposals to be comprehensive and commercially aligned.
- This role is challenging and requires a self-motivated and effective Quantity Surveyor or Contracts Management professional to navigate the industry by being visible in the field with existing and prospective clients.
- As Surveyor / Contracts Manager you will have a high level of autonomy and will report directly to the Managing Director.
