A respected envelope specialist based near Poole, Dorset is searching for a Project Manager with facades experience to join the team.
The business has been operating for over twenty years and undertakes a variety of facade projects across the Commercial, Nuclear, MoD, NHS and Residential sectors. Projects include Rainscreen Systems, Rendered Panels, Terracotta Tiling as well as Composite Roof, Wall Panels and Standing Seam Aluminium Roofing Systems with projects ranging up to £5million.
Due to a steady increase in orders, they are looking for a Project Manager to join the business.
Description of Job Role:
- Leading and managing of the project teams on the projects under your control.
- Attending project meetings reporting on Health & Safety, Programme, Quality and Financial matters pertaining to the project.
- Detailed understanding of Health & Safety management and compliance.
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, Architects, and other professionals as well as sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Able to inspire and motivate the work force.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- Previous experience with cladding, glazing or roofing essential.
- HNC in Construction or relevant Degree level qualification.
- SMSTS
- NVQ Level 6 minimum
- CSCS Card
- Professional membership of the RICS, CIOB or ICE is desirable.
- Have a good working knowledge MS Office – Intermediate level of Excel.
- Programming.
