Salary up to £48,000 + Car Allowance + 22 Days Holiday
I am representing a busy contractor based near Portsmouth who is searching for an Estimator / Surveyor to join the business in January 2021.
The company has been operating for over 10 years and offers a broad range of services that consist of flat and pitched roof refurbishments, internal office fit-outs, kitchens, staff room areas as well as partitioning, doors, glazing, lighting and suspended ceilings. Project values ranging from £50K to £1M.
Duties will include:
- Dealing with incoming enquiries, attending client meetings to establish clients’ requirements and proposing recommendations.
- Estimating and tendering for roofing and internal refurbishment projects across the South.
- General Quantity Surveying duties.
- Placing sub-contractor and material orders.
- Keeping financial control of projects.
- Managing variations, additional costs, any time implications and agreeing final account.
The Candidate:
- You will be organised, self-motivated, methodical with attention to detail and have excellent problem-solving skills.
- You will have Roofing or Industrial experience.
- You will be personable and able to establish long-term relationships with clients to support future business growth.
