Blaymires Recruitment is representing the UK’s leading Fire Safety and Facade consultancy based in Romsey who is searching for a Business Development Manager to join their growing team.
The consultancy undertakes work nationwide, providing a complete solution to facade safety and compliance. They are presently working with a range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies.
The Role
- As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying new clients and nurturing existing customers.
- You will be responsible for selling key services and will pursue new business opportunities through the sales process and will ensure full ownership and commitment of the role.
- You will be motivated to exceed financial targets.
- You will work with the wider team and other areas of the business to develop proposals that meet the client’s needs and objectives.
- You will produce written customer proposals and work with various areas of the business to accurately price submissions.
- You will travel and meet with clients to discuss their requirements and present services.
Key Requirements
- Successful track record in securing new sales.
- Previous experience of working in a Business Development or Technical Sales Manager role.
- Experienced in dealing with senior management and key stakeholders.
- A highly confident and proactive individual.
- Capable of working under pressure to critical deadlines and objectives.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Office based with a need to travel.
- Organised and Structured in their approach.
- Attendance at Business Expo’s, CPD’s and trade events.
