Blaymires Recruitment is representing a Surveying and Consultancy firm based near Southampton who are searching for a Building Surveyor to join their business.
The consultancy works closely with their clients to understand and manage cladding combustibility risk, defects and remedial issues. They are presently working with a range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies.
You will be joining a professional consultancy who are looking for a Building Surveyor to manage the Facade and Cladding remediation reports process.
You will review reports and make amendments before sending to the Technical Director for final sign off.
This is an office-based role with the option of home working, you will visit sites when required and ongoing training and development will be on offer.
This role would suit a Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor who is interested in joining a busy consultancy.
The Successful Applicant
- BSc in building surveying or equivalent.
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, prefearrable but not essential.
- A minimum of three years technical delivery experience.
- Reports experience would be an advantage.
- Good technical and communication skills.
- Strong IT skills (AutoCAD, MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel and other bespoke software).
- Organised, diligent and commercially astute.
- A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

- Salary up to £60,000.
