QS over multiple retail new build & fitout sites– sourcing labour and contract administration on all
development stages from tender & JCT framework project pricing, liaison with project team,
clients, sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Assisting & managing team of up to 3 Surveyors, on some client accounts, training several new
staff team members on the frameworks and clients projects, and ensuring good standards are
kept, along with consistency across all projects, for those clients
• Managing multiple subcontractor accounts, with up to 10 live projects for the team onsite at one
time, with an average project size of 250k. Advise on surveying & construction potential issues
prior and during construction where relevant.
• Management, monthly cost reconciliation & maintaining subcontractor & client accounts on a per
project basis, site surveying, valuations, cost forecasts and invoicing, overall financial control of
projects.
- Procuring materials and subcontractors – including re-measuring and payments, 95%
procurement prior to project commencement, where possible although frequent project
rescheduling, often gave a more reactive procurement solution. Ensure that orders for work are
placed at the right time to avoid delays and assist in the efficient delivery of the project. Agree
interim and final accounts with the sub-contractors & clients and value final works.
