Blaymires Recruitment is representing the UK's leading fire safety and facade consultancy based near Romsey who is searching for a Technical Sales Manager.

The consultancy works closely with their clients to understand and manage cladding and internal fire combustibility risk, defects and remedial issues.

The consultancy works across the UK to make Britain's buildings safe, compliant, mortgageable, saleable, and insurable; ensuring that building owners and managers across the nation can access services to assess and improve safety in their buildings.

They are presently working with a range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies.

As Technical Sales Manager you will have the opportunity to work within an exceptionally busy and lucrative sector and will be responsible for promoting and selling Remediation and Projects services from the list below.

Services Offered

• Intrusive Facade Surveys and Reports.
• PAS 9980 Reports with EWS1 Forms.
• Fire Engineering Reports.
• Fire Strategy Reports and Fire Statements.
• Internal Fire Risk Assessments – Types 2 & 4.
• Compartmentation Surveys – Types 2 & 4.
• Specification, scope, and design of any necessary remedial works.
• Specification and scope for internal Fire Alarm Systems.
• Installation of an external Alarm System, to replace existing Waking Watch needs.
• Overseeing of works & Clerk of Works Service for remediation & In Build Projects.
• Laser Scanning of buildings to provide drawings.
• Building Safety Manager Role.
• Fire Safety (England) Regulations.
• CPD and training sessions.

Your role as Technical Sales Manager will include:

• 50/50 split of new business and account management.
• Working towards targets and growing revenue.
• Promotion of products and services.
• Working from office and visiting clients.

The successful Technical Sales Manager will have the following:

• Sales experience working within the Construction or Engineering sectors.
• Live commutable distance to Romsey.
• Able to communicate with clients extremely well.
• Able to build great relationships with existing and new clients.
• Hungry to succeed and close deals.
• Confident in approach.
• Smart appearance.
• Able to learn and absorb new information quickly.
• Solution focused.
• Highly organised of own work loads.
• Knowledge of the RIBA stages 0-6 would be an advantage.
