Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading main contractor based in Ringwood who is searching for a Freelance Business Development Manager to join the team.

The company is an established contractor who undertakes a variety of refurbishment, extension and new build projects across the South.
Recent projects have included Industrial Units, Schools and Car Showrooms that range in value from £500K to £4M.

The company is looking to widen their client base and are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) with construction experience to join the business on a long term basis, working 2-3 days per week.

The Role
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for increasing market share both with existing and new customers. You will pursue new business opportunities through structured development of new client relationships.

You will have a network of Clients and Architects and will be knowledgeable of all aspects of Business Development including pre-contract negotiations, pre-construction, PQQ documents, questionnaires, bid writing, frameworks and tender submissions.
Experience & Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager or Marketing Manager.
• Knowledge of main contracting / construction sector is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
