A long-established commercial property contractor who specialises in Warehouse and Office space efficiency are searching for an Estimator / Contracts Manager to join their growing business.

The company undertakes all aspects of Warehouse Maintenance, Fit-out and Refurbishment works within the warehouse sector, with typical projects consisting of Office Fit-out, Mezzanine Flooring, and Pallet Racking works ranging from £1K to £250K.

You will be skilled in all areas of Estimating and Contracts Management, a highly motivated and organised individual who understands processes, tactics and how to nurture relationships with customers, subcontractors and suppliers.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive contractor who has long-term plans to grow and will offer a stable and interesting career. Home working is on offer, and you will cover the Midlands and London areas where you will deliver projects.

Duties:

• Responsible for quoting and delivering low, medium and high value (£1k to £250K) orders.
• Cost management and operational duties across high volume of small projects.
• Measuring, estimating and budgets.
• Final accounts.
• Planning and Programming projects.
• Responsible for Health & Safety.
• Subcontract commercial control.
• Reporting, forecasting and risk management.

Experience Required:

• Proven track record for delivering projects on time, to cost and meeting quality criteria.
• Proven track record in commercial management of projects.
• Small works, Maintenance experience.
• Cost management.
• Estimating & tendering.
• Project Reporting.

The Person:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience working as Project Manager or Contracts Manager.
• HNC or Degree qualified.
• JCT forms of contracts an advantage.
• Hands on knowledge in Health, Safety and Environmental.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
