A respected modular building contractor based near Winchester is searching for a Working Foreman to join the business.
The company has been successfully operating for over 30 years and have made a name for themselves in the design and construction of beautiful timber frame modular buildings for the private and commercial sectors.
As Working Foreman, you will be responsible for organising, controlling and supervising the day to day activities on site and will work on the tools when necessary.
You will report to the Contracts Manager and your duties will include site health and safety, quality and a zero defects policy at completion, good housekeeping, day to day responsibility for anyone working on the site including sub-contractors, providing the customer with a positive experience and a quality building, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the project.
The company undertakes work throughout the South and Midland areas and some living away will be required. The business looks after their members of staff well and you will be provided with accommodation and subsistence allowance when working away.
Skilled required:
- Previous experience working as a dedicated Carpenter or Multi Skilled Operative.
- Experience in working in the residential or modular sector.
- This position requires a Full UK driving license.
