Salary up to £35,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + 23 Days Holiday

A leading façade contractor based in Southampton is searching for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor.

The business undertakes cladding and glazing projects across the South and London with projects ranging in value from £750K to £5M.

Due to a steady increase in workload, they are now looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their surveying team.

This role would suit an advanced Assistant Quantity Surveyor or an existing Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who is looking to make their mark in a growing business.

You will be joining an incredibly talented team of commercial professionals and will have the opportunity to work on leading cutting-edge projects.

Duties:

• Responsible for the financial control of projects between £500K to £5M.
• Working with JCT contracts.
• Applications for payment in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
• Production of monthly cost reports and forecasting.
• Preparation of delay notices in accordance with contract terms.
• Processing monthly subcontractor payments.
• Picking up and valuing variations.
• Settling final accounts with main contractors.
• Site measures.

Experience:

• Previous experience with cladding, glazing or main contracting.
• Previous experience working with JCT and/or NEC contracts.
• Minimum of 3 years’ Quantity Surveyor experience.
• Able to drive and visits sites.
