A leading façade engineering consultancy based in Surrey is searching for a Senior Facade Consultant with design experience to join the business.

This respected consultancy has been operating for over two decades and offers expert services across a wide range of disciplines, these include façade and structural engineering, cladding and façade survey, investigation, fire safety, specification, design as well as refurbishment & recladding.

Due to a steady increase in confirmed work they are now looking for a Senior Facade Consultant with Facade Design experience.

Requirements for the role.

• Strong technical skills in facade engineering. 10 years’ experience in facade design.
• Experience in using a variety of design software tools such as AutoCad, Rhino, etc.
• Experience in specification of facade projects, conceptual design of facades and of the detailed design of facades.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest British and European standards.
• Up-to-date knowledge on facade materials and products and the selection of appropriate materials and products for projects.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Good management and people skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly to clients, colleagues and other involved in the project.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or architecture.
• A master’s degree in facade engineering would be a distinct advantage.
• Professional membership of either the Institution of Structural Engineers, Institution of Civil Engineers, Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers or RIBA would also be an advantage.
