Salary up to £30,000 + Car Allowance + Package

Blaymires Recruitment is working with a specialist Facades Contractor based near Eastleigh, who is searching for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team.

The business undertakes a variety of rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, steel framing systems, insulated render and wall panelling projects across London and the South West. Projects range in value from £500k to £5 million.

The company has several projects starting shortly and are currently looking for an Assistant Site Manager with Façade experience, who is looking for a long-term opportunity.

This role would suit an Assistant Site Manager with Cladding or Curtain Walling experience who has worked for a sub-contractor for a minimum of 2 years.

The Role

• You will report to a Site Manager and visiting Project Manager.
• You will assist and manage all labour and subcontractors to ensure work standards are maintained.
• You will assist with health and safety and ensure safe social distancing is maintained.
• You will assist with calling off materials and maintaining programmes.
• You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure delivery in a timely and efficient manner.

Skills Required

• Understanding of financials
• NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent qualifications
• Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel
• SMSTS certificate
• First Aid certificate
• Scaffolding certificate
• CSCS Card
• Good communication skills
• Assertive and strong persuasion skills
