Salary up to £65,000 + Car Allowance + 25 days Holiday + Pension

I am representing a respected main contractor based in Dorset who is searching for a Senior Estimator to join the business.

The business undertakes new build and refurbishment projects for Private, Commercial, Education, Health and Defence sectors.  They undertake traditional and two stage tenders with values ranging from £2M – £15M.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator who is looking to join a professional and profitable contractor. On offer is a long-term opportunity to grow with this successful business.

Main Responsibilities:

•Prepare and lead the compilation of tenders & quotations.
•Maintain records of all pricing details and budgeting for prospective projects.
•Develop client and consultant relations and develop solid working relationships.
•Communicate effectively with all divisional staff, Directors, Clients and Consultants.
•Comply with current estimating processes.
•Work in conjunction with bid team in preparation of the estimate.
•Provide input to the handover process from estimating to contract.
•Attend meetings with prospective Clients, Designers, Contractors and Architects where necessary.

Skills/Qualifications:
A history of tendering New Build and Refurbishment projects.
Knowledge of estimating computer packages.
HNC or Relevant Construction Degree.
