Site: Northwood, Middlesex
Start Date: 1st March 2021
Day Rate: up to £280
A respected Modular Building Contractor is searching for a freelance Senior Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new school building in Northwood, Middlesex.
The company has built a strong reputation through innovation and design and constructs high quality and modern modular buildings for the education and commercial sectors.
You will be responsible for client liaison, planning and programming, managing sub-contractors and ensuring the site complies with all health and safety regulations and is Covid secure.
This role is initially for a period of three months and would suit a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager with modular building experience who is looking to take full control of a site.
The duration of this assignment is three months and is likely to continue throughout the summer and into the autumn as the company has multiple projects starting throughout the year.
Experience Required for the role
- Successful track record of managing modular construction projects.
- Keen eye for quality throughout the build process.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
- You will need to hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
- Provide regular progress reports.
- Management of sub-contractors.
- Responsible for Health & Safety.
- Checking quality of work carried out.
- Trade or construction degree background.
- Qualifications
- SMSTS.
- First aid qualified.
- CSCS card holder at Manager level.
