Blaymires Recruitment is working with a specialist Facades Contractor based in Romsey, who is searching for a Site Manager to join the team.
The business undertakes a variety of rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, steel framing systems, insulated render and wall panelling projects across the South West and London areas. Projects range in value from £500k to £5 million.
The company has several projects starting shortly and are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager with an in-depth knowledge of cladding or facades systems.
This role would suit a Site Manager who has worked for a Cladding or Facades sub-contractor for a minimum of 5 years.
The Role
- You will report to a visiting Contracts Manager and in turn be responsible for all site activities.
- You will manage all labour and subcontractors to ensure work standards are maintained.
- You will oversee health and safety and ensure safe social distancing is maintained.
- You will be responsible for calling off materials and maintaining programmes.
- You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure delivery in a timely and efficient manner.
Skills Required
- NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent qualifications.
- Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel.
- SMSTS certificate.
- First Aid certificate.
- Scaffolding certificate.
- CSCS Card.
- Good communication skills.
- Assertive and strong persuasion skills.
