Salary £65,000 + Car/ Allowance + 25 Days Holiday

A respected medium size contractor based near Portsmouth is looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager to join the business in January 2021.

The company undertakes a variety of refurbishment and new build projects for clients such as the NHS, Retail, Education and Commercial sectors, with contract values ranging from £50K to £4M.

They are a friendly and professional business and have already secured their workload for the new financial year with projects starting in January 2021.

The company has plans to steadily grow the business over the next 5 years and is searching for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager who is looking for a long-term career opportunity.

This role requires a flexible individual who can carry out full Quantity Surveying duties such as placing sub-contract orders, managing payments, variations and final accounts.

You will also perform the role of Contracts Manager, you will liaise with the client and ensure projects are planned, programmed, resourced, and delivered on time and budget.

The Person

• Have minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Project or Contracts Manager.
• Have a good understanding of building regulations.
• Have refurbishment and some new build experience.
• HNC or Degree qualified.
• Strong knowledge of JCT form of contracts experience required.
