Projects: Multilocation Warehouse Fit-out and Facilities Maintenance Services.
Location: Midlands
Salary up to £45,000 (OTE: £100,000+) + Vehicle + Mileage + 23 Days Holiday + Pension
A long-established commercial property contractor who specialises in Warehouse and Office space efficiency are searching for a Project Manager with sales experienced to join their growing business.
The company undertakes all aspects of warehouse fit-out, office fit-out, mezzanine flooring, pallet racking, internal and external refurbishment project values ranging from £10K to £350K.
The company has plans to steadily grow the business over the next 5 years and is looking to recruit a Project Manager with Sales or Account Management experience who is from either a Facilities Management, Warehouse, Office Fit-out or Shopfitting background.
You will work across the Midlands area and will be active in meeting and building key relationships with decision makers within the Warehouse sector. You will assess their facilities management and refurbishment needs and will then pass this information back to the estimating team for pricing. Once the job is won you will liaise with the operation team and will be the ongoing point of contact for the client.
The role would suit either a Contracts Manager, Project Manager or an Account Manager that has excellent client development skills.
The Role:
- Find, introduce, nurture relationship with large multilocation warehouse, shop, office companies.
- Keep CRM records with large multilocation clients, prospects, and suspects.
- Identify needs of the prospective clients, introduce new products.
- Proposal management: PPM, reactive maintenance, special projects.
- Carry out site visits, survey client’s premise, ensures correct RAMs are in place, guides clients through installation process.
- To ensure work has been carried out on time and under budget.
- Be in contact with dedicated operations team to ensure materials for jobs are on order, arrived correct quantity, quality, quotations have been produced, approved, submitted to client. Quotations are followed with customers.
- Show interest in delivering value to clients through efficiencies, low carbon emission, automation, warehouse safety.
- Site surveys, Remote working, zoom calls with Contracts Manager to ensure projects are progressing.
- Working from home and traveling throughout the UK to meet with prospect clients.
The Person:
- Experienced in either Facilities Management, Warehouse, Office Fit-out or Shop-fitting.
- Proven track record in successfully selling either capital equipment and/or a technical service-based solution into the Warehousing industry.
- Confident with IT Systems, specifically the Microsoft suite, CAD, CRM processes & systems, and presenting via Teams/ Zoom.
- Target driven and commercially astute.
- Excellent communication stills both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
