Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading off-site design and build contractor who is searching for a Project Manager to join the business.  With their head office based near Ringwood, Hampshire there are shortly going to start work on a large MOD Defense project located near Newquay, Cornwall with a project value of £8M.

This is a rare opportunity for a Project Manager to make their mark and support the growth of an established and profitable contractor, who has plans to grow over the next five years.

As Project Manager you will have experience of overseeing large MOD projects and will have security clearance. You will have experience in supporting site teams as well as liaising with the clients and ensuring projects are planned, programmed, resourced, and delivered on time and budget.

The successful Project Manager will need to have:

• At least 5 years Project Management experience.
• Modular build or New Build experience.
• MoD Experience.
• Security Clearance.
• Detailed understanding of Health & Safety management and compliance.
• A sound knowledge of CDM Regulations.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, Architects, and other professionals as well as sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Able to inspire and motivate the work force.

Qualifications of the Project Manager

• Black CSCS card
• SMSTS certificate
• First Aid at Work
• Degree or HNC
