Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading Demolition & Salvage contractor based in Southampton who is searching for a Freelance Site Manager to oversee the demolition of a large farmhouse and external buildings in Botley, Hampshire.
This is a part time role working 3 days per week from the 8th January 2024 and will run for 8 weeks.
You will report to the owner of the company and will assist him in running of the site and managing the paperwork.
The Role:
Site inductions.
Prestart meetings with sub-contractors.
Coordination & management of subcontractors.
Site safety.
Collaborative planning with the subcontractors.
Weekly & forward planning.
Daily diaries.
H&S paperwork.
Emailing to confirm agreements with subcontractors on programme issues.
Liaising with the client’s on-site team professionally.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years site management experience
CSCS Card
SMSTS Certificate.
First Aid Ticket.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
