A leading Roofing Contractor based in Southampton is looking for a Flat Roofing Estimator to join the business.
The company has been operating for over 50 years and are experts in delivering roofing projects across the domestic and commercial sectors.
Due to planned growth they have an opening within their Flat Roofing Department and require an experienced Roofing Estimator to price flat roofing projects, ranging in value from £200k to
£1 Million.
They are a friendly business who are looking for a an enthusiastic, highly motivated forward thinker, who possesses the ability to multitask with accuracy, whilst always ensuring exceptionally high standards are achieved and deadlines successfully met.
Duties will include:
- Dealing with incoming enquiries, attending client meetings to establish clients’ requirements and proposing recommendations.
- Completion of full tender process; constructing bespoke quotations, estimations and BoQ’s utilising drawings, specifications and site surveying.
- Calculating breakdowns/budgets for labour, materials, plant etc.
- Identifying areas of risk.
- Achieving optimum conversion rates and achieve desired financial margins.
- Developing both product and service knowledge to represent the company to the highest of standards.
- Working closely with Contracts, Commercial and Office Departments.
The Candidate
- You must have excellent communication skills and a track record of negotiating and securing flat roofing contracts is essential.
- You must be personable and able to establish long-term relationships with clients to support future business growth.
