Salary £85,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + 23 Days Holiday
Blaymires Recruitment is representing a high-end residential Contractor who is searching for a Contracts Manager to manage projects throughout London.
As Contracts Manager you will be responsible for delivering beautiful residential refurbishments as well as striking new build projects ranging in value from £2.5M to £7M with project durations ranging from 1 to 2 years.
Job Purpose
You will assist Pre-Construction throughout the bid stage and, after handover, provide leadership and direction to multiple project teams. You will be responsible for the successful completion of projects so that they are delivered within the contractual timescales and meet or exceed the anticipated profit margins.
You will work collaboratively with the Senior Manager of the department and other key personnel to champion best practice and ensure that projects are delivered to the high standards expected.
Experience
You must have high-end residential experience to be considered.
You will be able to programme and plan projects and ensure all Health and Safety.
You will have good man management experience and be able to motivate and lead all team members.
You will have excellent communication skills.
You will direct and coordinate all project activities with a value ranging between £2.5M and £7M.
You will manage multiple projects running simultaneously.
You will understand and manage complex project information that requires multiple processes and programme revisions.
Technical and Construction Knowledge
- A relevant construction qualification etc, NVQ in Construction Management.
- Contemporary construction methods and detailing.
- Traditional construction methods and detailing.
- Conservation and listed buildings.
- High-end Residential, Structures/ Basements, High-end Finishes, MEP experience.
- Preferably have MCIOB.
- SHE Qualified.
- Demonstrable programming skills.
- Good people management skill set.
IT Software Packages
- Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
- Use of document filing systems.
- Project Commander.
- PDF editing.
