Salary up to £60,000 + Car Allowance + 20 Days Holiday + Pension

I am working with a respected Roofing Contractor based near Bournemouth who is searching for a Contracts Manager with Flat Roofing experience.

They have been operating for over 10 years and have built a trusted business offering flat and pitched roofing services across the South for the residential, commercial and Industrial sectors, with projects ranging in value up to £350k.

They are looking for a flat roofing Contracts Manager to head up their expanding flat roofing department and work alongside the Managing Director and existing team.

The Contracts manager will need to have knowledge of various flat roofing systems including built up felt, single ply and liquid waterproofing systems. You will need to be confident, be able to motivate staff and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients to discuss their requirements.
• Managing construction schedules.
• Attending site meetings to monitor progress.
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers.
• Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
• Programming and ensuring construction projects meet agreed technical standards.
• Managing and lead schemes from inception to completion.
• Client relations ensuring excellent communication skills
• Managing Site managers and Supervisors.

Skills and Attributes

• Roofing experience and understanding of terminology, materials and processes.
• Understanding health and safety and RAMS.
• Current full drivers’ licence.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Computer literate.
