A leading Civil Engineering and Structures contractor is searching for an experienced Busines Development Manager to join the team.

The company has a proud tradition of undertaking interesting and technically challenging construction projects across the rail, ministry of defence and private sectors.

As Business Development Manager you will report to the Divisional Director, this is an exciting opportunity to hold a key role within a specialist and motivated team.

Working closely with the Divisional Director, you will be responsible for supporting the development of the business within the Rail sector.

You will possess proven Business Development Management skills, with the ability to identify and source appropriate tender opportunities, to maximise the chances of success and ultimately secure contract wins.

Job Description
Work with the estimating team in preparing and submitting tender bids.
Increase sales of the business.
Develop the business sales and marketing strategy including reports to the board of directors.

Experience
Knowledge and understanding of the rail construction industry.
A technical understanding of steel and metalwork fabrication process would be an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent presentation capabilities.
Outstanding research and strategic analysis skills.
Strong IT skills.

Salary up to £65,000 + Package.
