Blaymires Recruitment is representing an established building contractor based in Droxford, Hampshire who is searching for an Office Accounts Assistant.
The company is seeking a dynamic and organised assistant who will be an integral part of the business and will contribute to the efficiency of daily operations and play a key role in maintaining a productive work environment.
Responsibilities of the Office Accounts Assistant:
- Input and process for payment all purchase invoices and deal with basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Assist with inputting sales invoices.
- Assist with weekly payroll duties.
- Manage and organise office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Monitor and respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in scheduling appointments.
- Maintain and organise physical and digital files.
- Provide general administrative support to team members.
Qualifications of the Office Accounts Assistant:
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of CIS and Domes c Reverse Charge VAT desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in an administrative role is a plus.
On Offer for the of the Office Accounts Assistant:
- Salary £26,400.
- 25 Days Holiday.
- Pension.
- 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (30 mins unpaid lunch per day).
