I am representing a Facade Remedial Consultancy based in Romsey, Hampshire who is searching for a Trainee Cladding Consultant to join the team and will cover the South / London area of the UK.
The consultancy works closely with their clients to understand and manage their facade combustibility risk, defects and remedial issues. They are presently working with a range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies.
This opportunity would suit a Cladding Installer or Cladder looking to move away from the tools or a Site Manager who has façade experience who is looking to move away from the delivery of projects and use their cladding / facade experience to support the growth of this professional Facade Consultancy. You will have a good understanding of different cladding and façade materials.
The Role
- The Trainee Cladding Consultant will support the Senior Cladding Consultant.
- You will be given onsite training and will responsible for travelling to sites and review wall conditions of high rise buildings.
- You will perform a nonintrusive test, drilling a hole into the wall and using an endoscope to survey the wall conditions and exterior façade.
- You will detail all present external fire risks and creating specifications of remedial works necessary. You will identify the issues to removal and replacement of any dangerous cladding.
- You will upload all findings and photos onto the company database.
