Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading building contractor who is searching for a Business Development Manager to join the team.

The company has a long-standing reputation for undertaking refurbishment, restoration,  fit-out, shopfitting and extension projects across the UK.

They work for an extensive list of blue-chip clients across the Retail, Leisure, Education, Medical, Historical and Office sectors with project values ranging from £200K to £3M.  

This role would suit either a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager  or Marketing Manager who has construction experience and is looking for a long term opportunity to grow with the business.

The Role
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for increasing market share both with existing and new customers. You will pursue new business opportunities through structured development of new client relationships.

You will have a network of Clients and Architects and will be knowledgeable of all aspects of Business Development. Experience of pre-contract negotiations, pre-construction, PQQ documents, questionnaires, bid writing, frameworks and tender submissions would be an advantage.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Manager.
• Knowledge of the Construction sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
