Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading fit-out contractor who is searching for an Assistant Contracts Manager to join the business.
The company has been operating for over 30 years and has worked with numerous clients across the retail, leisure and commercial sectors.
Their clients range from high-end names such as Cartier, Harrods, Four Seasons Hotels and Louis Vuitton, to popular high street brands including Adidas, H&M, Wagamama, Abercrombie & Fitch.
The company undertakes a variety of fit-out projects that can range up to £4M and often involve major structural steel alterations and include extension and basement projects.
With plans to steadily grow, they are looking for an Assistant Contracts Manager to support a Senior Contracts Manager, managing a major high-end fashion store fit-out in North London with a project value of £2M.
The company will consider an Assistant Contracts Manager or Project Manager that has Refurbishment, Fit-out or Construction experience. Ideally you will have some professional qualifications, clean driving licence and be keen to advance to a full Contracts Manager’s role.
Requirements
- Experience in supervising and overseeing direction of project to client’s requirements ensuring quality control.
- Read technical working drawings, set out site and check and manage sub-contract trades.
- Liaising with Contracts Director & Quantity Surveyor and sub-contractors.
- Commercially aware with good understanding of cost control.
- Good communicator, well organised and will be client facing.
- IT skills, MS Project, Excel, Word.
- Site audit, reports and programme review experience.
- Work over a large geographical area.
Qualifications
- HND/HNC, BSc. (Desirable).
- NVQ Level 6, SMSTS, CSCS, IOSH (Desirable).
- Time served understanding of joinery (Desirable).
