Blaymires Recruitment is working with a leading reactive and planned maintenance contractor based near Portsmouth who is looking to recruit a Repairs Supervisor.

The company provides repairs and maintenance services as well as planned maintenance projects for social housing clients in the area surrounding Portsmouth.

They are looking for a Supervisor who has the ability to work between multiple jobs and organise a small team of staff and subcontractors.

You will have kitchen installation and maintenance experience along with social housing knowledge and experience of voids would be an advantage.

General duties include:

• Supervision of voids property upgrades.
• Kitchen and bathroom installations.
• H&S management in compliance with company policy & documentation.
• Quality checks and related surveys.
• Working with project managers to organise materials and labour resources and sub-contractors.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Confident communication skills
• Well organised.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills with the drive and focus to deliver results.
• Health & Safety Qualification – IOSH, SSSTS or similar advantageous.
• Forward thinking pro-active approach.
