Blaymires Recruitment is working with a respected Fit-out Contractor based near Portsmouth who is searching for a motivated Contracts Manager to join the business.

The company has been operating for over 10 years and have established themselves as a refurbishment specialist offering market-leading construction solutions within the industrial & commercial sectors.

They require a Contracts Manager to oversee various internal and external fitout projects within the commercial, warehouse and industrial sectors, with projects values up to £1.5 million.

The successful Contracts Manager will either be an existing Project Manager who is looking to take a step up or an existing Contracts Manager who is ambitious and looking for an opportunity to advance their career with a growing contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and leading schemes from inception to completion.
• Design.
• Handling financial reports, budgets.
• Ensuring H&S is in place.
• Client relations ensuring excellent communication skills.
• Managing Site Managers and Supervisors.
• Programming and planning.
• Organising labour and materials.

Skills and attributes:

• Main Contracting or fit-out experience.
• Understanding health and safety and RAMS.
• Current full drivers’ licence.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Computer literate.
• SMSTS.
• First Aid.
