Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading independent multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy based near Winchester who is searching for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join the business.
The company was established over 35 years ago and they undertake Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Building Surveying and Employers Agent services and work with a wide range of clients including Private Individuals, Developers, Private Companies and Public Sector organisations.
Due to a steady increase in workload, they are now looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to work alongside the Managing Director.
You will be responsible for undertaking professional and project work for a variety of clients across a number of sectors including MoD, Education, Commercial and Residential.
You will need to have good technical experience and a good understanding of the construction and property sector.
You will be involved in doing condition surveys and project management work including contract administration and project monitoring.
You must be able to work with little supervision and be able to do work withing required timescales.
The Candidate
- You will have a Degree, Diploma or MSc in Building Surveying.
- You will be MRICS or MCIOB qualified.
- You will have at least two years post qualification experience or more.
- You must have experience in all core Building Surveying duties in particular good experience of due diligence, surveys, and dilapidations, acquisition surveys etc.
- You should have experience of project management, contract administration and preparation of specifications and schedules of work.
- You will have excellent client facing skills and be able to deal with people at all levels.
