Blaymires Recruitment is working with a specialist Facades Contractor based near Southampton, who is searching for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

The business has more than 25 years of experience specialising in full facade solutions including cladding, roofing and curtain walling with projects ranging in value from £500K to £5M.

The company has a variety of projects starting shortly located between Hampshire and London and require an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work alongside the existing Senior Quantity Surveyor and be part of a growing commercial team.

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will assist with the following duties:

• Cost management across multiple projects.
• Measuring, estimating and budgets.
• Final accounts.
• Subcontract commercial control.
• Valuations and payments control for positive cash flow.
• Reporting, forecasting and risk management.
• Develop subcontract and client relationships & communication.
• Supply chain commercial improvement with suppliers and contractors.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge Required:

• Degree or HND/HNC Qualified (Quantity Surveying or Similar)
• Passion for a career in Quantity Surveying
• Good team player.
• Able to act under own initiative.
