Project Manager – Construction Consultancy

Fareham, Hampshire

Salary up to £60,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Healthcare + Pension + Mileage

Blaymires Recruitment is representing a vibrant construction consultancy based near Fareham who are searching for a Project Manager to join their team.

As a qualified and experienced Project Manager you will have the skills and personality that will enable you to hit the ground running as part of a busy team. Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering exemplary project management services across a variety of sectors is critical to this role.

You will have acute customer focus and a drive to succeed and will fit into the close-knit team committed to achieving growth and expansion targets.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for:

• Project planning including developing key project documents and processes.
• Project scope management.
• Project cost management including cost controls through the current year.
• Management of stakeholders.
• Setting up and updating of project schedule and costs.
• Managing a variety of construction projects ranging in value from £100K to £4M.
• Monthly reporting on the project including schedule, costs and risks.
• Analysis of collected information to identify any deviations to recommend preventative and corrective actions.

You will have:

• A clear understanding of project management including project planning, cost control, risk assessment, quality and resource management.
• Strong background in stakeholder management combined with commercial acumen.
• Ability to work on client side with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in delivering reports on project status to the project team.
• A relevant qualification such as from RICS, CIOB, APM (PMQ, PPQ), PRINCE2 or PMP would be of benefit.
• As Project Manager you should be proactive, a good listener and have excellent interpersonal skills and be driven to succeed and grow your career.
• This role would suit either a Project Manager from a consultancy background or a Contracts Manager from a Main Contracting background who would like to move across and work for a consultancy.
