Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading high-end residential contractor based in Surrey who is searching for a motivated Contracts Manager to join the business.
The contractor undertakes high-end residential projects across Sussex, Surrey and London. The company is steadily growing, and the work undertaken is Architect led, predominantly for private clients. Due to the outstanding reputation that the company has for quality and customer service, these contracts are often won by negotiation rather than by competitive tender.
The company is searching for a Contracts Manager with a high-end residential background who is looking for a long-term opportunity and would like a pivotal role in supporting the growth of the business.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for delivering beautiful and individual high-end residential refurbishments, extensions and new build projects that range in value from £500K to £4M.
Experience
- Must have high-end residential experience to be considered.
- Able to programme and plan projects and ensure all Health and Safety.
- Will have good management experience and be able to motivate and lead all team members.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- You will direct and coordinate all project activities with a value ranging between £500K to £4M.
- You will manage multiple projects running simultaneously.
Technical and Construction Knowledge / Skills
- You will have a relevant construction qualification HNC, NVQ in Construction Management etc.
- You will have Contemporary and Traditional construction methods and detailing.
- Conservation and listed buildings – Would be an advantage.
- High-end residential, structures/basements, high-end finishes, MEP experience.
- Preferably have MCIOB.
- SHE Qualified.
- Demonstrable programming skills.
- Be well presented and confident in liaising directly with clients.
- IT literate and can learn to use the latest cloud software products for health, safety and construction management.
- Ideally trade qualified (carpentry preferred).
- SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Card.
