Day Rate up to £250

Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading building and refurbishment contractor who is searching for a Freelance Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of an existing cricket pavilion, based near Hook, with a project value of £200k.

The project will start at the beginning of June and will last for 16 weeks. You will be responsible for managing the refurbishment of the bar, kitchen, changing rooms, and communal areas. You will oversee all internal decorations, flooring, plumbing, mechanical and electrical upgrade and carpentry.

This role would suit a Site Manager from a Carpentry or Trade  background who has refurbishment experience and is happy to be hands-on.

Requirements

• Experience within the main contracting refurbishment sector.
• Experience of planning, programming and managing sub-contractors.
• Excellent communication skills with experience working with private clients.
• Ensure works are completed in line with programme as well as labour and materials budgets.
• Ensure all activities on site are Covid compliant and are in line with health and safety procedures and requirements.
• Have care and pride in your work with attention to detail whilst completing tasks in a timely manner.
• Have flexible approach and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Have excellent written and spoken English.
• IT literate and able to use the latest cloud software products for health, safety and construction management.

Skills

• CSCS
• SMSTS
• First Aid
• Carpentry background would be an advantage.
