Cladding Project – Bristol

Day Rate: £250

4 Month Contract

Blaymires Recruitment is working with a specialist Facades Contractor based near Southampton who is searching for a freelance Site Manager with cladding experience to manage a project shortly starting in Bristol.

As Site Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of a metal cladding and brick slip system with a project value of £500k.

This role would suit a Site Manager who has worked for a specialist cladding or facade contractor or a Site Manager who has been responsible for managing a large cladding package working for a main contractor.

The Role

• You will report to a visiting Contracts Manager and in turn be responsible for all site activities.
• You will manage all labour and subcontractors to ensure work standards are maintained.
• You will oversee health and safety and ensure safe social distancing is maintained.
• You will be responsible for calling off materials and maintaining programmes.
• You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure delivery in a timely and efficient manner.

Skills Required

• Understanding of financials
• NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent qualifications
• Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel
• SMSTS certificate
• First Aid certificate
• Scaffolding certificate
• CSCS Card
• Good communication skills
• Assertive and strong persuasion skills
