Contract Manager – Social Housing / Reactive Maintenance

Salary up to £45,000 + Car Allowance +25 days Holiday + Pension
Blaymires Recruitment are working with a respected Maintenance Contractor based near Bournemouth who is searching for a Contract Manager with social housing and reactive maintenance experience to join the business.
This is an exciting time to join the business as they have won a major maintenance contract with a large social housing provider in the Dorset area.
The role
You will be responsible for managing a Housing Association contract in and around the Poole area, delivering responsive, planned & void works.
You will deliver excellent operational performance to drive high customer satisfaction levels, all in line with budget.
You will be expected to maintain and build strong client relationships both directly and through the contract teams.
Skills required
· Extensive experience of leading and delivering response maintenance contracts within the Social Housing sector.
· Excellent knowledge of responsive repairs/voids/planned works/project works.
· Knowledge of Social Housing works.
· Understanding of how to maximise productivity and how to measure and improve.
· A deep and complex understanding of Schedule of Rates.
· Excellent written and oral presentation.
· Good understanding of H&S legislation.
· Ability to write RAMS.
· Awareness and ability to implement/deliver under CDM.
· Understanding of KPI drivers for MD and our Clients.
· Experience in building and leading teams.
· SMSTS/IOSH, First aid, Scaffold awareness and inspection, Asbestos awareness, CSCS.
